Cheap Heating Oil?

A resident of our parish recently enquired of the Parish Council as to whether there was a syndicate in place purchasing domestic heating oil.  Clearly such a syndicate could possibly negotiate a discount against normal costs (of up to 8p/litre – see external website), and so whilst the Parish Council is not established to operate or organise such a scheme, we are happy to put those wishing to benefit from one in touch with each other.
