Draft minutes of the meeting of Winstred Hundred Parish Council held at Salcott Village Hall at 7.30pm on Tuesday 11th December 2018.

Minutes of the last meeting were agreed by all and signed by the chairman
Zone Warden Report: None
County and Borough Councillor Reports: The parish council will write as requested to ECC in support of keeping open both West Mersea and Tiptree libraries as they face possible closure. The parish council will also write to Abberton and Langenhoe Parish Council in support of a shop for the Lion pub site subject to providing suitable parking.

- Playgrounds and Playing Fields are in good order except that the cable wire at Peldon has broken and will be repaired shortly. No work has been carried out recently by the Community Group.
- Precept 2019/2020 was explained and discussed with the financial report to date in readiness for the decision at the January meeting for the precept required for the following year having received notification from CBC including grant contribution.
- Planning Training Session held by CBC was attended by parish councillors and considered to be worthwhile, the presentation was circulated.
