Public-Have Your Say: None

Declarations of Interest: None

  1. Playgrounds and Playing Fields are in good order, the grass and roadside hedge (at a cost of £275 agreed by all) at Salcott have now been cut. Unfortunately, vandalism is taking place in the Salcott playground and field and items are being destroyed, a CCTV is being considered for monitoring purposes. The parish council is keen to learn of any local knowledge on this matter.
Having achieved obtaining funding for this project a site meeting at Peldon playground has now taken place to establish how things will proceed with removal of old and installation of new equipment, surfacing and fencing. There may well be a short period when the playground is without equipment and out of bounds/use which is inevitable with this kind of major project. It is hoped that people will be patient and understanding about this and enjoy the lovely new playground when it is completed.
  2. Salcott Telephone Kiosk: a site meeting took place with parish councillors and the village hall management committee to decide where it will be sited on the field. We now are waiting for disconnection and contractors to relocate it. A local working group will then be formed to clean up, paint and fit out the box for its new life as a book swap and information hub.
  3. Actions and reminder List – updated
