A meeting of Winstred Hundred Parish Council will be held at Peldon and Wigboroughs Community Hall (meeting room) on Tuesday 10th May 2022 at 7.30pm to which the Councillors are summoned to attend.

Everyone attending this meeting is required to wear a mask.  Whilst we appreciate that this is not a legal requirement at this time, as we have vulnerable people amongst us, it is a common courtesy for their safety.

Electors and Organisations are invited and can contribute to this meeting.

Items for Discussion

1. Audit Return and Associated Compliances AGAR Part 2 2021/2022

  • To note internal auditor report
  • To agree and sign Certificate of Exemption   
  • To agree and sign Annual Governance Statement
  • To agree and sign Accounting Statement

2. Playgrounds and Playing Fields

  • Reports on both play areas and fields, including book box
  • Update of outdoor adult/older children gym equipment and benches
  • Decision required: Any matters of that need attention?

3. Bus shelters-update

  • To note refurbishment of Mill Lane bus shelter
  • Great and Little shelters roof repairs will take place shortly having received confirmation from our insurance company that they are covered by storm damage.

4. Noticeboard request

  • To discuss a request for a bigger noticeboard for School Lane, Great Wigborough
  • Decision required: Should we take this further and look into cost etc?

5. Jubilee Celebrations-update

  • All the villages are holdings various events over the long Jubilee weekend.
  • The parish council is delighted to gift celebratory mugs to all the children.
  • Peldon mugs can be collected from Liz Davidson on Saturday evening or Sunday lunchtime at the Jubilee events held there.
  • Salcott cum Virley and Wigboroughs mugs can be collected from the clerk by appointment phone 01206 735367 or email [email protected]
  • Bring your own bags or boxes for collection.
