Draft minutes of the meeting of Winstred Hundred Parish Council held at Salcott Village Hall on Tuesday 10th January 2023 at 7.30pm

- Playgrounds and Playing Fields are both in good order with outstanding jobs being addressed. Peldon Jubilee tree has now been planted near the village sign and thanks go to Liz and Robert for that. Salcott one is in hand and will be planted shortly.
- Precept/Grant 2023/24 – after carefully consideration of future budget, this year’s expenses, price increases, etc it was proposed, seconded and agreed by all to increase the parish council precept by 10% (£1,478) giving a total of £16,258 for the year to enable services and projects to be addressed as and when required in all the villages.
- Road Gritting – with a view that further commitment from ECC is not an option,a reminder to all residents that there are salt/grit boxes in various locations for spreading the contents on icy patches on the pavements and highways when required. Refilling of the boxes can be arranged with Phil Gladwin for collection from his farm where we hold a supply.
- Website update – it was agreed that we should ask our service provider to update the website as he sees fit for our needs but ask about extra costs if any.
